You know who is going to love my crush for this week? Well, besides me. Miss Vicky in MN!

Vicky is the winner of the free Craftsy class I offered in last week’s giveaway. I’m so pleased for her and I know she’ll find a fabulous class. (Vicky, I have emailed you!)

Random - Craftsy

Be sure to check out Sandra’s blog – mmm! Quilts, and Julie’s blog – Pink Doxies to see who were the lucky winners of the classes and Grand Prize package from Craftsy from last week’s blog hop. How exciting!

If you don’t receive one of the prizes, you can still be a winner by picking up some great fabric or a class or two. I love their fat quarter bundles and am always checking out their clearance items.

Now, on to this week! I have several projects on my to do list for this week; can you believe it is the last week of February, already!!!  The main project is a customer top that needs quilted and will probably take me most of the week. There is a block that she needs turned and a seam that needs fixed before I can start on the quilting. The border is made of log cabin blocks and I’m still contemplating how to quilt them. Any ideas would be appreciated!

I also have a quilt of my own that is almost finished, all I have to do is bury a few threads and put on the binding. That will be a finish this week and then I’ll have pretty pictures to share! 🙂

Speaking of pretty…Did you guys see all the great projects linked up last week? Wow! I want to say Welcome to the new party-ers we had  – thanks so much for joining in! Some of the great projects were:

Katy of Katy Quilts finished the center of her hexie project. Look at all that handwork!

This lobster quilt made me smile – it is so fun. Shelley of A Pigeon in Pungo tells how she created the applique lobster. Be sure to visit her blog and check it out!

And Kelli showed off this Captain Jack quilt she is crushing on. What little boy wouldn’t love this??

I am in awe of all the creativity I see linked here every week. When I’m having a blah day and not feeling very inspired, all I have to do is read a few of these blogs and I’m ready to go again. Thanks for that!

A couple of weeks ago I bought a TruStitch stitch regulator for my Sweet Sixteen and I’ve been spending a lot of time getting familiar with it. I’ll have a blog post about it soon and I look forward to sharing my thoughts on this tool with you.

So, what are you crushing on this week? I would love to see what has you excited to be in your sewing space. You can link up any blog post, Instagram or Flickr pic – here’s how:
