Last week just disappeared. Do you ever have a week in which you are so very busy, but when you try to remember what you accomplished you can’t think of one completed project? I had that happen to me last week. I have lots of projects in progress, but nothing new to share with you on any of them. Bleh.

While I will certainly be spending a lot of time in the sewing room over the next few days, none of my own projects are crush-worthy this week. So I am going to share with you an app I use almost daily. This app is on my phone and really helps me a lot with quilty calculations. It’s called “The Quilter’s Little Helper – Essential Quilting Calculators” and was created by Robert Kaufman Fabrics. It’s FREE(!), and available for both Android and iPhone.

RK-APP-1There are 8 different calculators including Backing & Batting, Piece Count, Binding, Border Yardage, etc. I use it all the time to tell me how many binding strips to cut and how much backing fabric I need. This app has saved me a ton of time by doing all those calculations for me!

(Just so you know – I have no affiliation with Robert Kaufman Fabrics or this app. I just wanted to share with you a tool that I find helpful and use a lot!)

This handy dandy tool is my crush for the week, and I can’t wait to see yours. Now let’s take a look at some of the great projects that were linked last week:

Love Abounds detail 4

Susan from Quilt Fabrication made this beautiful table runner for Valentine’s day. I just love the quilting she did – stunning!

Check out this beautiful wool piece that Tanya of Tanya Quilts in CO made. I love all the applique work and the wool adds a dimension and texture that makes me want to touch all the blocks.

Another piece that caught my eye were these blocks that Bonnie of In Stitches with Bonnie is working on. She’s making them to be used in a Seahawks quilt, but I just love this color combo.

I hope you will share your crush for this week. You can link up any blog post, Instagram or Flickr pic – here’s how:
