Happy Monday! I hope everyone had a great weekend and is ready to face this new week. Who knows what it will bring!
Hubby is down with a nasty cold and he is miserable. I didn’t get a lot of sewing done over the weekend – I was busy playing nurse…something I’m not very good at. 🙂 But hey, I try.
If you read Friday’s post, you’ll know that I released a new pattern on Friday. That pattern and quilt is definitely my crush for this week. I am pretty excited about it. You can read all the details here: Introducing Oomph
Yesterday we had absolutely beautiful weather. The sky was blue, the sun was shining, and the temperature was in the mid 60’s. I took advantage of the beautiful day and took a couple more pictures of Oomph.
I love the ray of sunlight that is captured on the camera lens and how it shows on the quilt. The wind was blowing pretty good but I managed to get a shot in between the gusts of air.
And one more, just because.
Isn’t it fun to see the juxtaposition of the soft quilt against the rusty ladder?
If you’re interested in the Oomph pattern, it is on sale for $6 through February 14th on Craftsy and in my Etsy shop. Instructions and fabric requirements for 5 sizes (Baby-King) are included, so it’s like getting multiple patterns for the price of one!
There were so many great link-ups to Main Crush Monday last week. Thank you to everyone who linked, visited, and commented. I love seeing your projects and am always inspired. Here is just a sample of the greatness that happened last week:
Sarah @ Cedar Fork Stitches finished and gifted these beautiful pillows.
Kate @ Katie Mae Quilts finished Berrylicious Dinos. Love the name!
and Kate @ Life in Pieces is making progress on this gorgeous Allietare quilt.
Now it’s your turn to share your crush. I would love to see what you are working on and what has you excited to be in your sewing space. You can link any blog post, Instagram or Flickr pic – here’s how:

Your pattern is terrific! No wonder you’re proud of it. The quilting is a perfect compliment! Love the bold colors.
I love the bold colors and pattern in your quilt. Kudos to you for getting a good picture with wind blowing. I usually just get blurs. I hope you don’t catch what your husband has. Good nursing is risky. 😉
I don’t have a crush this week, per-say, so I’m gonna crush on your Oomph with you. Love that quilting.
Wonderful photos! I hope hubby feels better very soon.

Hope your guy feels better fast. Oomph looks wonderful.
Love seeing your Oomph! lovely love the bright bold colors, I’m almost done with my Postage Stamp quilt and now on to the borders on the sides.
It’s a really beautiful quilt Beth. It looks great hanging in the sun. My husband also had the cold, but just so we don’t think it’s only a guys thing a lot of women have had it as well.
If your guy caught the same thing I did this weekend, you and he have my sympathy. That was one nasty head cold, but at least it was short lived. Thanks for featuring my version of Allietare, it was a nice surprise to see it at the bottom of your post.
