Today I’m excited to share information with you about a fabulous online shop, Fort Worth Fabric Studio.
But first a little background story.
When I attended the Quilt Blogger’s Int’l Retreat a few weeks ago, a couple of the ladies asked me about the fabrics I used for the tote bags. When I said the pieces were part of a Friday Bundle from Fort Worth Fabric Studio, they said they had not heard of FWFS. Which made me wonder – how many of you have yet to discover this great online shop?
I love going to my local quilt shop to buy fabric and supplies. I especially like the interaction with the owners and ladies who work there. It’s very motivating to be in the same room as other quilters, talking about fabric choices and current projects.
But when the shop doesn’t have the fabric I want, I turn to online shopping. And when I am shopping online, I want the experience to be as fun and easy as going to my local shop. Fort Worth Fabric Studio is just that – a great online shopping experience.
I found FWFS a couple years ago, and really enjoy their selection of fabrics. They have a fabulous sale page. But my favorite thing they do each week is offer a Friday Bundle Batch. These are specially curated bundles and are available in fat quarters and half yard cuts.
- Pocket Full of Posies
- Pumpkin Spice
- Christmas Past
A Sampling of Past Friday Bundle Batch Collections
So I reached out to Jodie, the owner of FWFS. She is a wonderfully sweet person who enthusiastically agreed to sponsor a giveaway for my readers. Just because. How cool is that??
I want you to get to know Jodie’s shop and enjoy her fabric selections as much as I do. Please take a minute to visit and browse through the shop as a thank you to Jodie. You might find something you just can’t live without! (This is NOT an affiliate link.)
The site is easy to navigate – you can shop by manufacturer, color, precuts, wide backings, etc. The Sale page is also a fun place to look around. I always find something there that has to come live with me! 🙂 While you’re there, do yourself a favor and sign up for the newsletter. Each Friday the newsletter will be delivered to your inbox with information on that day’s bundle and other fabulous deals.
Now for the giveaway and the reason for my crush!
On Friday, we will be giving one reader that day’s Friday Bundle Batch in Fat Quarters. Since the bundle isn’t released until Friday, I can’t show you the actual fabrics that are included. But I know they will be fabulous. We will all find out on Friday, together! I will draw for a winner at 5 pm EST on Friday.
Entering is easy. Just leave a comment on this post letting me know if you are an online shopper. (That’s how I do most of my Christmas shopping!) Followers of this blog get a second entry by letting me know how you follow. And, as a bonus, if you sign up for the FWFS newsletter, come back and leave a comment letting me know.
Due to shipping costs, this giveaway is open to US residents only.
Now it’s your turn to share your crush! But first, let’s visit a couple from last week’s linky party.
Mel of Mel’s Quilting Blog is working on this pretty HST quilt. I love the scrappiness of it, and how big it is. She’s still making HST’s, so it’s going to get bigger!

Helen of Midget Gem Quilts is working on a Bubble quilt. These blocks are a variation of a log cabin block, but they look soooo cool put together this way. Lots of work has gone into the making of each of these blocks!

I follow you on Bloglovin’
Not having a LQS close by, I do all my shopping online. Blogs are really helpful to me, to see the fabrics used in various contexts.
I follow you through email and Bloglovin’ and have linked up several times to Main Crush Monday. Mary at quiltingisinmyblood at gmail dot com.
I shop A LOT online, but I also have given my local quilt store plenty of support.

Love to shop on line as well as shop at my LQS. FWS has awesome curated bundles!
I am an online shopper. I try to support my local businesses as much as possible but sometimes it is just easier to purchase online. You have a great selection of fabrics and I have purchased from you.
I am fairly new at quilting and usually purchase online because I am mot allowed to drive and can not get around without the help of a walker or wheel chair.
I follow on email
I follow on Instagram.
I do most of my shopping online.
Thanks for the shop info! I do probably 70% of my fabric (and gift) shopping online, as I just don’t have very many local options. (Thanks also for the cake recipe ~ sounds amazing!! (except the coke part, that just sounds a little weird 😉 but – I make apple dumplings with mountain dew, and they are always a hit!) I think I will make it for my husband to take for his next ‘goodie day’ at work)
happy cooking 🙂
I love FWFS and look forward to the Friday Bundles. Jodie has a great eye for the fabrics she puts in the bundle. One Friday I out a Bundle in the cart, hoping that I would not go back and it kept calling, but by the time I was back it had sold out. I dropped her a note that if she found any hiding, that I would like one. She added a different fabric for the piece that was sold out. She is really great . I am already subscribed as my pension check will tell you.
I’ve shopped with FWFS–their service is excellent. Their local for me—a friend of mine works their. Love their Friday fat quarter bundles!
I am addicted to Fort Worth Fabric Studio fabric bundles!p
I’m signed up for the newsletter.
I shop my local fabric shops 75% of the time, and Jodie is near me, so it’s online shopping, but still local. 🙂
I follow on feedly.
I get their newsletter.
I do shop for fabric online.
I have shopped at FWFS and the service is incredible. There’s always a little extra goodie in my happy mail orders from there also! I already get her newsletter and Thank you for the chance at winning a bundle!
I shop online for fabric most of the time. I have purchased fabric from FWFS several times and it is one of my favorite online shops. I am already subscribed to their newsletter.
I do like online shopping… life is just getting busier and busier and online saves me time.
Huge fan of online shopping. I have no time to go to a store in person. I send my husband for groceries and I save the Target shopping for necessities and “necessities” for myself. Otherwise, I try to stick to online.
Online shopping is so convenient unless color matching is super important. It also costs less. I do feel bad for not supporting more LQSs and buy a yard or two when I stop in now and then.
I do a LOT of shopping online…fabric, patterns, household items, books, Christmas presents…You name it, I’ve probably shopped for it online. It’s so easy and convenient. 🙂 Thanks for the giveaway!
I already receive FWFS newsletter by email.

I am an hour away from any fabric stores so I mostly shop online. Thanks for the tip–I ordered cat fabric for my granddaughter’s graduation quilt!
I am an adept online shopper, if I do say so myself 😉 i especially like sale sections and options…and I see FWFS has a very fun remnants/last piece section!
we also shop online. How do their prices compare to other places. I love that they have my KF sets and the prices look reasonable. What are your experiences with them
Beth, as you know I follow you through bloglovin. I signed up for the Fort Worth newsletter and I have linked in this week. Thanks for doing what you do, and thanks for sharing your love and inspiration with us personally. We enjoy your friendship and maybe sometime soon, we can get up that way to see you.
I follow Cooking Up Quilts on Bloglovin’!
I find that I am shopping more and more online simply because we have only a JoAnn and Hobby Lobby here that sells fabric. I love being able to browse by color, designer, and theme!
I am already getting the FWFS newsletter via email…. they are awesome!!

I live in a remote community in Northwestern Ontario, so online shopping is essential for many things other than fabrics and sewing related items.
I follow with Bloglovin. 🙂
I like to buy in person as well, but will shop online when I can’t find what I am looking for. (That pumpkin spice collection is darling!)
I shop online for my fabric and patterns, I am disabled and all the local quilt shops have steps. I will check out Fort Worth FS, thanks!
I have only made a few purchases online. My husband’s favorite place to do any shopping is online.
I receive the FWFS newsletter.
I am a bloglovin follower.
I do some online shopping but like to support local businesses if possible.
I buy a lot of my fabrics online. There are several shops I like (and follow on Instagram), and even more that I would love to buy from. Unless I buy all the fabrics from a specific line of fabric, I generally buy anything extra like the backing fabric from a local shop so I can hold up the fabrics together and see how they work together.
Oh, and I already get the newsletter. 🙂 I love seeing what each Friday bundle is.
I only shop online for fabric if I already know exactly what I am looking for. Or if I have seen it in person already. I like touching the fabric before I buy it. 🙂 Yes, I am that person that pets everything in the store.
Follow on Bloglovin!
Not much of an online shopper because I still like to see fabric in person, and because I’ve got too much fabric already!
I shop online and at my local quilt shop too!!! mumbird3(at)gmail(dot)com

Thank you for chance to win your Give-a-way! How exciting it is a Surprise even to you, as to what it will be! 🙂
I’m definitely an online shopper. I don’t always have time to go to the local quilt shop, and they don’t always have what I want.

I’m an online addict for sure! With small kids, it’s so convenient to jump online instead of fight my way through the store!
I usually buy online. There are so many great shops and deals. I do hit up my local Joann’s for kona solids when I’m in need and in a hurry!
Oh yea! I’m an online shopper. And, a quilt store shopper. And….. I didn’t realize FWFS had a Friday special although I do know about it.
I can’t say enough good things about Jodie and the staff at FWFS. She is great at what she does, and always goes the extra mile. The selection of fabrics there are outstanding, and the sales too. I try and buy from a LQS. However, there is only one, small one in our area. Whenever we travel, I go to the LQS. I really like to see the fabrics up close. Otherwise, I do buy online. Thanks for the opportunity. acbeier71@gmail.com
I shop local most of the time, but with only 1 store nearby, I do order some things online. I’ve visited FWFS a few times, but I think I’ll check it out again. I have a couple of items I haven’t been able to find elsewhere and they may have them. Thanks for the giveaway.
I have heard of FWFS, but never ordered from them. Just signed up for the newsletter.

I follow you thru email updates. I saw the bags you made for QBIR. They looked wonderful. So sad I couldn’t get there.
I like to shop at my local quilt shop but also shop online. If you don’t count the shop hop this past summer, I bought more fabric online than at my LQS. kthurn(at)bektel(dot)com
That’s about where I’m at too! 🙂
