Today is the first day of the Fabri-Quilt New Block Blog Hop, and man, am I excited!
Holy Tutorials, people!
More than sixty – 60! – bloggers are participating in the hop over the next four days. What’s in it for you, you ask? Tons of block tutorials. Oh, and a blog hop wouldn’t be complete without a giveaway or two… So, let me explain how this works.
Each participating blogger was given a fat eighth bundle of six fabrics to use to design a block with a summer theme. The bundle includes the following colors:
Chartreuse, Turquoise, Coral Aqua, Lapis Blue, WhiteAfter designing a block, each blogger will write and post a tutorial for their design. All the blocks will then be gathered and made into quilts to be donated. Isn’t that terrific? I love that!
There is a different host for each day of the blog hop, and you can register to win your own Half Yard bundle of the palette above on each host site. You can also visit the Inspired by Fabric blog each day to register. There will be a total of eight winners.
Here is the Blog Hop host schedule:
Monday – Yvonne @ Quilting Jetgirl
Tuesday – Cheryl @ Meadow Mist Designs
Wednesday – Stephanie @ Late Night Quilter
Thursday – Terri Ann @ Childlike Fascination
My day is Wednesday, so be sure to hop back here for my block and tutorial. I will also have links to the other bloggers releasing their tutorials on that day.
How’s that for a Main Crush Monday? That’s enough excitement to keep us crushing on our Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday! So, what has you excited to be in your sewing space this week? I would love it if your shared with us by linking up below. Here’s how:
