Welcome to Main Crush Monday, the August 13 edition! I hope you’ve been busy little bees in your sewing room because I have to admit – I have not. I know, I’m not setting a very good example this week. On the outside I look like this…..
ā¦..calm, smiling sweetly, sewing away while thinking pleasant thoughts.
But.
Underneath that calm exterior is this:
Maybe it’s not quite that bad – I haven’t actually pulled out any of my hair. š
We leave for vacation in 4 days and I’m not ready to go yet. I’ll be working three of those days, hubby is working literally right up until the hour we leave so preparations are mostly falling on me. Good thing I’m a pretty organized person! I’ve been working on finishing the quilting on as many customer quilts as I can so I won’t be worried about those while I’m gone. And I’ve been making a list of the quilt shops I want to try to visit while we’re gone. Thank you to everyone who sent suggestions. You know I’ll be doing some fabric shopping, so I’m grateful to hear about the shops we should add to our itinerary.
Even though I don’t have a sewing project to share with you this week, I certainly am crushing on our upcoming vacation. I know I’ll have some great pics to share with you when we get back and hope to have lots of quilty goodness to share as well.
Meanwhile, since I don’t have my own project, I would love for you to share yours. Seeing everything you are working on keeps me motivated. Your projects are so inspiring!
You can link up any blog post, Instagram or Flickr pic – here’s how:

Enjoy your vacation! You definitely deserve one š

Like you, I”m getting ready for a vacation which starts Thursday, so minimal “crushing” here. I’m following the lyrics – “summer time and the living is easy” LOL at least that’s what I tell myself as Life happens.
Oh Enjoy!!!
