I am usually a “work on a single project till it’s done” kind of girl but this week I have been multitasking! Two projects at once….whew! It is fun, and I feel so much more productive. 🙂
I almost have the Deconstructed – Not! quilt finished. All that’s left to do is the binding, so hopefully I’ll be sharing that finish soon. I have also been kicking around a few different names for the quilt and I think I’m close to having a new name for it.
After my initial thread mishap with the quilting, I enjoyed quilting this top. I used a new to me design in all the sashings and borders and there is ah-mazing texture! I can’t wait to show you.
I have also started on Anthony’s quilt. I’ve been busily making HSTs with the Kona Solids bundle I showed you here. These colors are soooo fun to work with and I am so inspired by them.
This picture shows just half of the triangles I have made. I put a few on the wall to see what the gradient was going to look like and I really like what I see. This is the general layout of the quilt top, although I might mess with a little bit. Just because there needs to be a little bit of a surprise element, right?
Those are my two WIPs for this week. I’m linking up with WIP Wednesday and Let’s Bee Social. Be sure to check out all the great projects!
Your finished quilt peek looks so pretty! Can’t wait to see the big reveal! And to hear what it is going to be named. You have me curious! And your design wall is looking so fine! Those Konas look happy in HST form!
Oh my goodness…this post is filled with so many things I love! Oranges, HSTs, and that wonderful Kona bundle!!! Enjoy!!!
Hi Beth. It’s Colleen from the Bee Hive Tina. Found you! Love your blog.
It can be really fun to have several projects going – just when you need a break on one you have another to distract you and keep you productive. The HST gradient looks lovely!
How exciting to have your quilt almost finished. And I am loving the ombré look of your HST quilt. Plus, I think we may have the same Janome.
