It’s that time of year again – Sew Mama Sew’s bi-annual giveaway day starts today! If you are new to my blog, welcome! I hope you will take a few minutes to look around and, if you like what you see, become a follower. As a reminder, you can visit Sew Mama Sew’s site and enter all sorts of fun giveaways!
Just a bit about myself: I am a stay at home wife who loves to quilt. I enjoy the quilting process (except making backs and pin basting!) and my passion is FMQ. I get such a kick out of seeing a quilt come to life when I start quilting the top. The more I learn about thread and the effect it has on a top, the more addicted I become. Those of you who visit regularly know I like to work with bright colors and graphic patterns. I have published two patterns – Floating and Snap, Crackle, Pop! – and am excited to write more. Sometimes there are just too many ideas in my head and no time to get them put to paper and fabric! 🙂
I host a weekly linky party every Monday called Main Crush Monday. You can link up any blog post or Instagram or Flickr pic and share what projects you are working on, a new tool you are using, pretty much anything quilty related that has you excited that week. I hope you’ll join in the fun.
Okay. Enough about me and on to what you really want! For the giveaway this year I am offering two sets of two charm packs. Two winners will be randomly drawn and each will win a set of charm packs. Up for grabs are:
…..two Woodlands charm packs. Designed by Jo Morton for Andover Fabrics. You guys should feel these fabrics – they are so silky and wonderful! Most of the prints have a real masculine feel to them and I would love to see what you make with them.
The second set is:
….Ansonia by Denyse Schmidt for Free Spirit. Lots of pinks and chocolate browns. I used these fabrics to make a zipper tote bag. Just click on the link to see a pic and tutorial.
The giveaway starts today at 9:00 am EST and runs through Sunday, December 13th. I will announce the winners on Monday’s December 14th MCM post. Please make sure your email is correct as that will be how I will contact the winners. If you’re not sure, you can leave your email in your comment.
To enter, leave me a comment telling me what projects you are working on and trying to finish before the end of the year. Easy, peasy. I can tell you that I am working hard to clean up all the projects in my sewing room so I can start fresh in January. I’m just not sure how successful I will be! 🙂
Because of the number of comments, I won’t be able to respond to all of them. Please know I appreciate the time you spend here and hope you’ll visit again!
