Today I’m excited to share with you another pattern release by Cheryl of Meadow Mist Designs.
Cheryl writes great patterns that are pre-cut friendly and this one is no exception. The Vintage Star pattern is layer cake friendly, and I know you have one or two of those just laying around, right? 😉
You can purchase Vintage Star on Craftsy and Etsy at the reduced price of $7.50 through October 4th. Just visit Cheryl’s blog for all the details.
To celebrate the release of this pattern, Cheryl has graciously offered to give one of my readers a PDF copy. All you need to do to enter is leave a comment. If you want, let us know if pre-cuts are something that you like to use and if so, which is your favorite.
The giveaway will be open this week and I will announce the winner on Friday evening.
Also, don’t forget to hop over to the MCM post and enter to win a copy of Check Plus (another great pattern by Cheryl) or a copy of my latest pattern, Stack o’ Bubbles (or, as it is quickly and affectionately being called – Bubbles!) 🙂
Good luck!
Beautiful quilt and pattern. And, yes, I have several layer cakes just waiting to be used!
I do like pre-cuts, particularly charm packs and fat quarters.
I love this pattern, and have always liked what Cheryl does.
Very pretty quilt. I really like this pattern. Star blocks are my favorite.
I like to use pre-cuts, mostly fat quarters. Love the little mini-charms, too. Thank you, peterstankovich@comcast.net
Such a cute quilt! I love it!
This is a wonderful pattern. I love precuts, they are so easy to buy, store and use.
Great quilt. Yes I love precuts, so easy to buy and use and store.
I try to use my stash the most…but I love Fat Quarters! lol I recently made a quilt with a layer Cake, and it was fun & quicker (less cutting..)
Thank you for chance to win your Give-a-way too! 🙂
Cheryl has so many beautiful patterns. This one looks like fun. It will just have to go on the list for now.
Great pattern – normally I don’t use precuts! I have a stash that I draw from inherited from a friend who passed away!
Love this beautiful pattern. I love pre-cuts, especially charm squares and jelly rolls. Makes quilting so easy!
This pattern of Cheryl’s is cute too. I think buying pre-cuts is actually cheaper than buying yardage if you are following a pattern. I don’t buy a lot of pre-cuts but do have some fat quarters and they are so easy to cut. For me, it’s all about the leftovers. Karen kthurn(at)bektel(dot)com
So pretty! I like to use jelly roll precuts when doing quilts. Also am fond of charm packs. Thanks for sharing!
I love precuts. Charms and Layercakes are my favorite!

This is my favorite-but both are wonderful! I don’t have a preference when it comes to pre-cuts.
As a very new beginner I really like precuts. It removes at least 1 place where my not-so-great cutting could cause a problem. Layer cakes are my favorite. Thank you for the chance to win.
Yes, Vintage Star is a very pretty pattern. ‘Would love to win it. Pre-cuts, I do occasionally use charm squares or jelly rolls 🙂
What an adorable quilt! I’m so happy for Cheryl. It must have been fun to read the pattern for her.
