I always forget to take pictures of any new fabric I get and so I never get to share what goodies I’ve added to my fabric collection. Yep, collection. I’ve decided if I call all the fabric stuffed in my cabinet a collection, it sounds less like a I have a stash problem, right? 🙂
The following are some pieces I ordered from Pink Castle Fabrics when they recently had a sale.
My collection is lacking in low volume and small print fabrics, so that is what I focused on. I don’t have any plans for these, but I really like the way they look.
These two pieces are from the Carkai line by Carolyn Friedlander. They are Stitches in White, and Ladder Lines in Ash. I bought two yards of the Stitches piece and already used some of it, and probably should have bought more of the Ladder Lines print. I am liking it a lot now that I see it in person. I just don’t think you can go wrong with Carolyn Friedlander prints. I am drawn to a lot of her designs and colors; I should probably get a fat quarter bundle of the Carkai line….
The crosshatch print is Light & Shade in Lagoon. I seem to have a lot of this blue/aqua-ish color in my collection and I know I’ll find something fun to do with it.
The pretty pink piece is Curiosities String Lights in Carmin. I think it’s fun and I’m going to enjoy playing with it.
So, four fun pieces to add to the cabinet. Craftsy is having a Sunday Steals sale today; maybe I’ll be adding more to my collection soon! 🙂
Linking up with Molli Sparkles for Sunday Stash. Have a fun day!
You found some fun prints in great colors. I’ll have to remember to use fabric collection, it does have a more refined ring to it than stash. LOL.
oooh… i like those fabrics. I must get on Pink Castle’s email list. I did their stash building fat quarters for a whole year. Loved everything that came in and I actually use it instead of waiting for the “perfect” moment.
Carkai is gorgeous and those neutral prints are a great choice! I agree with Yvonne, LV swaps are a great way to build your stash and get a good selection of fabrics.
These Carkai prints are great, I loved the Doe range too. Look forward to seeing what you do with them.
Picking up LV fabrics is hard for me, too. I joined a LV swap to help me with that last year which has already been helpful for bee blocks.
I want your stash! Beautiful colors and together…YUM! Ladder Lines is going on my ‘want’ list!
Those are all very very pretty, and I like the idea of having a collection, because then it is ok if you don’t use it right???
Lovely choices, Beth.
